Asus has returned with its ROG Matrix RTX 4090, a super-premium liquid-cooled model of the already super-premium RTX 4090. The last time Asus offered a graphics card in its ultra-premium ROG Matrix line was an RTX 2080 Ti air-cooled edition, priced at around $1,900 in 2019. For those who missed out on that card (and may have been saving up since then), the company is back with the ROG Matrix RTX 4090, which is going to be very expensive (though they haven't announced a price yet).
Announced today at Computex in Taipei, the ROG Matrix RTX 4090 features a 360mm radiator with Asus chain-magnetic fans and a copper cold-plate that makes thermal contact with the GPU through liquid metal. The result, according to Asus, is an RTX 4090 with the highest GPU boost frequency in the market. However, the exact boost clock number is still unknown at this time.
