Forza Horizon 5 is now about 20 updates away with the arrival of the "High Performance" Series 20, which looks like an exciting release for fans of high-speed road racing and high-end sports cars. The upcoming update offers major quality of life improvements along with some highly requested features and cars.

Let's get straight to the point: here's what's coming in Forza Horizon 5 Series 20 "High Performance" update:

  • A true oval race track. The Forza Horizon 5 stadium in the center of the map is receiving one of its biggest revisions so far. Finally, FH5 players will be able to race around a legitimate oval circuit in their fastest vehicles, competing against other players for the fastest lap times.
    • The Horizon Oval track is the real deal, with stands and crowds.
    • The Oval Race Track will take up the stadium for the duration of the Freeroam series
    • Once the series is over, the stadium will return, but the Horizon Oval track will be permanently added to the game as a race field.
    • It can also be used as a starting point for EventLab plans and events.
  • New cars. Forza Horizon 5 Series 20 will feature four additions to the Forza Horizon 5 car list, with highly demanded vehicles including:
    • 2019 Porsche Motorsport 935 #70
    • 2020 Lamborghini Huracán STO
    • 2021 Audi RS6 Avant
    • 2021 Porsche Mission R
  • A new festival playlist. Of course, as with every Forza Horizon 5 series update, Series 20 comes with a new playlist for festivals. 6 evolving world PR stunts return during this festival playlist, there will be a new collectible piñata helmet, and players can earn new cosmetics and phrases throughout the festival playlist.
  • New achievements and badges. Finalists can investigate 20 new accolades focused on the Horizon Oval circuit and Series 20, and can also add three new badges focused on collecting as many unique vehicles as possible.
  • Quality of life improvements and bug fixes. This update contains new general improvements and fixes for Forza Horizon 5, some of which keep many players happy. One of those issues (regarding control mapping) was a concern I raised in my Forza Horizon 5 review almost a year and a half ago. Some of the highlights include:
    • Prosthetics and headphones can now adjust automatically to your character's skin tone.
    • Requirements to link ANNA and Forza LINK to D-Pad with custom controller profiles have been removed.
    • A bug that prevented roads from appearing as discoveries on the map has been fixed.
    • HUD now better supports ultrawide displays on Xbox.

Forza Horizon 5 players don't have to wait long to get their hands on the new features and content of the "High Performance" Series 20. The festival playlist and changing world will start on
