It was a refreshing return to form at Computex 2023 after the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic as the last time we visited Computex in person was in 2019. You can find our coverage of Day 1 of the program here, but what follows is for Day 2.
There are many exciting announcements to cover, so keep reading to see what's hot right now:
5K and 8K monitors, RTX 4090 external GPU, and custom DDR5
Component manufacturers are present, including some dizzying displays from Asus and ASRock. The ASUS PG49WCD has a 49-inch 5K resolution (5120 x 1440) and a refresh rate of 144 Hz, while the ASRock PG558KF with its 55-inch screen offers 8K resolution.
Also on deck is Gigabyte's Aorus RTX 4090 gaming box, which, as its name implies, packs Nvidia's flagship desktop GPU in an external chassis (with factory liquid cooling and a plethora of rear I/O connections).
Cases and cooling are always big draws at the show.
Computex 2023 has been a big draw for the latest advances in cooling tech and cases. For example, the SilverStone IceMyst AiO has several interconnected fans through a central column. Then, the fans pivot, allowing them to be placed where they're most needed.
If you're looking to play games almost silently, there's the Streacom SG10. This fanless gaming case can passively cool up to a 250W CPU and 350W GPU.
The best of the rest
