Where to buy AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D Gaming CPU in the US and UK (UPDATED)

The AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D gaming processor was launched as expected on Thursday, April 6, with most stores in the US and Canada, and retailers across the pond in the UK listing the processor ready for anyone to buy. Some of the usual suspects were running out of stock or availability, so I scoured the web to find reliable distributors and save you the search.

This brand new CPU outperforms its rivals in the gaming department and proved to dominate in its price range in my recent review of Ryzen 7 7800X3D. It is outdone by some Intel alternatives that offer a broader range of productivity performance, but it could be argued that it is the best gaming processor available for gamers looking to build a new custom platform with AMD's AM5 socket and DDR5 RAM.

The UK is struggling with the 7800X3D, with virtually all retailers sold out or stuck on pre-orders apart from AWT-IT. Complaints are echoing on social media, and third-party stores seem to be in the same boat as their customers. For the US, availability is not as bad. Amazon lists the processor as its number one bestseller in the category, and other providers seem to maintain a relatively healthy inventory. Best Buy is finally restocking too: bad luck for Europe.
