For over 20 years, my family has been using Dell computers. We have had both Dell desktops and laptops in various forms and shapes since I was a kid. Mom even had a Dell XPS 12 with a swivel screen (#OldSchool). So it's no surprise that I am a big fan of Dell products. Thanks to Memorial Day discounts, I can brag about the latest Dell deals and tell you about them.
Dell XPS 15 specifications

Display: 15.6" FHD (1920 x 1080), non-touch
CPU: 12th Gen Intel i7-12700H
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 laptop
RAM: 16GB DDR5
Storage: 512GB
Weight: 4.22 pounds (1.92 kg)
I almost always recommend buying last year's model when purchasing a PC. Just like car manufacturers who try to clear their lots to make room for new inventory, computer manufacturers want to sell their PCs to make room on their shelves. They also want to ensure that they make money from the old inventory before it becomes obsolete.
Right now, you can save up to $750 on a Dell XPS 15 with a 12th Gen Intel Core i7-12700H processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050. The deal reduces the XPS 15 to $1149. 12th Gen Intel processors are still fast enough to handle day-to-day computing and relatively demanding workloads, especially when combined with the RTX 3050.
If you prefer to have the latest and greatest devices, Dell also has a deal on its latest XPS 15. The version with an Intel Core i7-13700H and an RTX 4060 costs $310 less for Memorial Day, bringing its price to $2,099.
Another Discounted Dell XPS
If the XPS 15 is too big for your bag or you simply prefer something more compact, Dell also offers a discount on the XPS 13. The 13-inch Ultrabook doesn't have as many options when it comes to deals right now, but it fits well with the model that has a 12th Gen Intel Core i7-1250U processor and Intel Iris Xe graphics. The Memorial Day deal takes $200 off this version, bringing it down to $899.
Intel Iris Xe graphics are not as powerful as NVIDIA's RTX graphics, but Iris Xe graphics are sufficient for everyday computing. This model is more for people who appreciate the high build quality and design of the XPS 13 than for creators or those who want to game.
